TIMINGS: The class will run in person on Saturday 20th June from 10:00 - 16:00 at Winchester Quaker Meeting House

Taking inspiration from Jane Austen and the Regency era this design looks at the iconic straw bonnet combining raffia embroidery, a material used in couture fashion and interior industries with traditional surface stitches. Stitches covered are Basket Weave, Stem Stitch, Split Stitch, Satin Stitch, Chain Stitch, Woven Wheels, French Knots, Closed Fly Stitch.

Suitable for students with some embroidery experience.

The cost of the kit will be paid to the tutor on the day and is estimated to be £40. Payment can be by cash or online but not by cheque.
