TIMINGS: The class will run in person on Saturday 19th July from 10:00 - 16:00 at Winchester Quaker Meeting House

The Dog Roses Class is inspired by historical Mountmellick embroidery designs. A floral whitework embroidery style originating in Ireland, in the early nineteenth century, in which surface stitches are selected to create a textured embroidery. A soft summer colour palette has been selected to give this historical style of embroidery a contemporary feel.

Stitches: Closed Fly Stitch, French Knots, Satin Stitch, Split Stitch and Stem Stitch

Suitable both for beginners and those with some experience
