TIMINGS: The class will run in person on Saturday 21st June from 10:00 - 16:00 at Winchester Quaker Meeting House

Join Loetitia to create this intricate folk-inspired beetle in dazzling lime green, sunny yellow, and playful pink for a summery feel.

Perfect for both beginners and seasoned stitchers, this hands-on session will teach you how to bring this brand new design to life with shimmering metallic threads and dimensional techniques, using additional texture such as beads and silk fabrics.

 

List of equipment the students will need.

- a pair of goldwork scissors
- a pair of small/sharp embroidery scissors (curved blade can be useful).
- a mellor or layering tool is highly recommended.
- a 6inch hoop - fabric will be cut to size. The oval hoop for finishing the piece will be provided.
- a pair of tweezers.
- a sharp pencil (hard lead, like an H or 2H) to trace the pattern. Not a heat erasable pen as it will leave marks on the silk fabric.
- a stand to work with both hands.

The cost of the kit will be paid to the tutor on the day and will be £29 for this class only.
