TIMINGS: The class will run in person on Saturday 18th March from 10:00 - 16:00 at Winchester Quaker Meeting House
With this strawberry pattern students will learn the basics of Goldwork Embroidery; felt padding, couching with Japanese thread, stitching pearl purl and chipping with bright check.
The pattern is available in Red or Blue and you may choose an option above. The tutor may not be able to source materials for each option in time so if you do not care which colour you have there is an Either option, which is also the default.
List of equipment the students will need to bring with them.

Goldwork Scissors (not essential but Goldwork threads can blunt scissors, therefore it is recommended to have a separate pair)
Mellor (Not essential but a very useful tool)
Thimble
Velvet board, padded beading tray or an off cut of velvet
Magnifying Glass or Magnifier if needed
Fineline Fabric pen/pencil, I personally prefer Caran D’Ache Luminance Pencils
