TIMINGS: The class will run via Zoom on Saturdays 2nd and 9th July, from 10:00 to 12:30.   

This colourful example of ribbon embroidery is inspired by the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, who was herself inspired by the natural world of Mexico.  It includes spiderweb roses, lazy daisies, straight stitch, ribbon stitch and french knots.

When you order I will pass your email and address details to Jessica who will contact you to check what colours you would prefer. There should be plenty of ribbons in the kit to finish the design, but Jessica will also include details of where to buy the ribbons in case you want to get more. The outline of the head will be drawn onto the fabric, and you can replicate Jessica's design exactly or place the flowers as you like.

 An 8 inch hoop will be required, and you should have a pencil and paper handy.
